There’s nothing new, its all been said so many times before; in every land, in every language, and on every shore.
We’re born to be happy, born for joy, we’re meant to be born free.
What of the pain, and fear, and grief from which we seek blessed relief? What of the greed, and anger? What thief takes away our effort to stay on solid ground? Who steals into our very soul, removes the thing that makes us whole?
And as we make our way through sadness and dismay, what sweet something comes our way and turns our nightness into day?
Could be it’s a simple thought floating on the air, someone’s gentle wish for us to go — and grow — into a place of peace that’s been always waiting there.
Into this place we run, with arms out wide, with eyes alight and hearts on fire, we shed our blight and now aspire to love this highter self we see — our own self that sent the wish for us to know that life is for living, and for giving, and forgiving.
We choose (again) to live in light, and give with love, and forgive us all. We celebrate, with humble joy, our second – or third – or umpteenth – rebirth. Once again we know our worth.
Whole once more, we have a holy day.

Each day is filled with opportunities to experience a “holy day.” How many we get to experience has every thing to do with our choices.
