Hiya, Paul — I say good for your kinfolk to wander, and you’re right, when a family’s all spread out like that, what a delight to be able to visit like that. And for me, I love being able to visit without having to be a house guest, and sleep in my own bed. It’s the best of both worlds!

My aunt and uncle did that in their early retirement years and it made for great memories for them – and also let everyone in the family see a lot more of them since we’re spread out up and down the east coast…

Hi, Barbara! Funny you should say “it doesn’t get any better” — every time I think it’s the best it could be, it DOES get better and that boggles my imagination!

This journey so reflects life’s journey — always something new and unexpected, where the scenery can be completely foreign to previous experience, and at the same time immensely magnificent. My eyes are so wide open these days, I think they may fall out of my head, LOL!!
